About Post-Imperial
Post-Imperial is the embodiment of collaborative storytelling. We are all mythmakers. Let's make myths together.
-Niyi Okuboyejo, founder of Post Imperial
Every collection is mindfully crafted with local African artisans, uniting traditional techniques & textiles with a modern, easy sensibility. We consider the social, environmental and cultural impact of a design before, during and even after its creation.
Post-Imperial—the name itself—means ‘after old regimes’. We envision Post-Imperial collections as opportunities to set a new standard of design without over romanticizing the past.
