The Ibeji Kehinde (Keh.een.dey) necklace is beautiful simple piece of jewelry made from glass beads sourced in limited batches from the Jakande artisanal market in Lekki, Nigeria. It comes in the option of clear quartz or garnet pendant.

This necklace celebrates the cultural significance of twins in Yoruba culture and is named after the Yoruba Orisha Ibeji, who represents twins in the form of Taiwo and Kehinde. Kehinde, which means "The second born of the twins," is considered the older twin in Yoruba belief, sending the younger one Taiwo to determine if it is the right time to be born.

  • Glass Beads.
  • Choice of quartz or garnet pendant.
  • Handcrafted in Nigeria.
  • Necklace will vary due to the artisanal nature of the materials.
